The 3 Steps to Getting Your ISO Certification

Best Practice Certification is here to support you in getting your ISO Certificate for your transport and logistics company in 3 simple steps:

BONUS STEP
Optional Gap Analysis

Best Practice will evaluate your existing ISO management system and identify any errors or missed opportunities that need to be addressed.

This is an additional step that we offer before we begin the actual certification process. This way, we can identify and correct any faults that could prevent you from getting your certification.

STEP 1
Stage 1 Assessment

We will evaluate your management system documentation, including your policies, review records, as well as the scope and context, and system implementation.

STEP 2
Stage 2 Assessment

We will run an E-Audit to ensure that the documented requirements are implemented across the entire business. During the audit, an assessor will discuss with key players from your company to determine if the requirements have been properly implemented.

STEP 3
Certification

Once we've ensured that the documented requirements are properly implemented, we will issue a "Statement of Certification"; that confirms that your transport and logistics business is compliant with the international ISO standard.

The certification is valid for three years from the date of issue. Yearly surveillance is needed to maintain your certification.

ISO Standards For Transport & Logistics

Transport and logistics companies should get certified to the following standards:

ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)

Transport and logistics is a notoriously hazardous industry, so companies need to prove that they comply with the standard for occupational health and safety. This certification standard provides a clear framework for establishing security management systems that are designed to keep employees safe. Everything from vehicle standards, speed, fatigue, and countless other factors are accounted for through this standard and continuously
monitored.

ISO 9001 (Quality)

Transport and logistic companies that get ISO 9001 certification can prove that they are able to consistently deliver high-quality services to their customers all while keeping costs under control. ISO 9001 2015 quality management systems (QMS) is designed to accelerate your business performance through compliance and continual improvements with international quality standards.

ISO 14001 (Environmental)

In a world that’s becoming more and more concerned with its environmental impact, being aware of your carbon footprint and trying to minimise it shows that you have the bigger picture in mind. ISO 14001 certification is especially beneficial for transport and logistics companies as it shows that your business cares about the environment and the future.
